Bicycling

Our camping ground is located directly on the cycle path ‘Liebliches Taubertal’ and runs from ‘Wertheim am Main’ up to ‘Rothenburg ob der Tauber’. “Der Klassiker” promises 100 km of fantastic bicycling on one of the loveliest cycle paths in Germany.
‘Der Sportive’ promises 160 km of sporty cycling over the heights of the ‘Tauberland’.
To return to the point of departure the railway line ‘Tauberbahn’ ( Wertheim-Schrozberg ) can be used.

For the more ambitious cyclist, the cycle path ‘Hohenloher Residenzenweg’ is on offer. Start point is Bad Mergentheim. Through Weikersheim the cycle path winds through the picturesque Vorbach valley to Laudenbach and Niederstetten up to Schrozberg.
From there it runs over the ‘Hohenloher Ebene’ to Blaufelden and Langenburg down to the Jagst valley. In addition, this cycle path offers the possibility of covering some of the entire route by train.

Interesting and diversified is the ‘Rad-Achter’. The east circle leads through the ‘Main-Tauber-Fränkische’ area from Weikersheim to Würzburg and runs parallel to the cycle paths ‘Main-Radweg’ and ‘Gaubahn-Radweg’.
